.160309. Malaysian Dreamgirl 1st Runway @ Mist Club Bangsar

Continuing from where I’ve left in the last preview, I’ll add a little more photos and updates here on the MDG Season 2 1st public appearance. Anyway, MDG has already been running for almost 2 months now and today is the 2nd elimination round after Maya and Acha was eliminated off last week. Want to know who left the house today?? Last week the girls were in Mist Club for the first runway and it was good. Many people turned out and to me, I was overwhelmed. At least I know that there are actually people who follows the show if not a lot. Well, at about 7.30pm the club was already almost full.

Elaine Daly was the MC for the night and before the show started, FLYFM cruisers was outside giving away freebies to the attendees, mostly bloggers, that I know off. In fact, I was the culprit that actually gathered all the people there to answer some simple questions and win some freebies for themselves while I get a free magazine for doing that. LOL

Anyway, the show started with the girls, doing their catwalk with Wacoal’s designs and right after that, Pinky was announced as the winner for Wacoal’s favourite model. She walked away with RM 1,000 in the pocket. The show then continued with a dance performance brought to us by Marie France Bodyline (correct me if I got it wrong LOL). Next the girls strutted their stuff again, this time, with HP products!!

Then, FLYFM DJ took over the stage and had more freebies to give away from the sponsors. First, they called up 6 guys onto the stage and Simon, if you know him well, was the first to hit the stage without a single hesitation. ROFL. When all 6 were up there, they were then asked to do a catwalk while the DJ play the songs. Eventually, Maya’s boyfriend won the game.

Next, it was the ladies turn. Many volunteered and it only took a split second to gather 6 girls up on the stage. This time, they had to do pole dancing. Guess the girls and the pole guys has lotsa fun up there!! LOL.

After having some fun, the girls got back onto their runway with cheong sam and also Lim Kok Wing’s special fashion designs. The crowd loves it and right after official end of the catwalks, the girls were given 15 minutes to mingle around with family and friends as well as some immediate fans!! Camera flashes everywhere and the girls were hugging their loved ones whom they have been missing since joining the top 12 in dream house.
